Do Not Call (DNC) Policy

1. Our Commitment

Leadsburg is committed to respecting your communication preferences and complying with the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) Telemarketing Sales Rule, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and applicable state do-not-call regulations.

We maintain a comprehensive Do Not Call program to ensure that consumers who do not wish to receive telemarketing calls are not contacted.

2. National Do Not Call Registry

We honor the National Do Not Call Registry maintained by the FTC. Before initiating telemarketing calls, we scrub our calling lists against the National DNC Registry to ensure compliance.

If you wish to register your phone number with the National Do Not Call Registry, visit www.donotcall.gov or call 1-888-382-1222 from the phone number you wish to register.

3. Company-Specific Do Not Call List

In addition to honoring the National DNC Registry, we maintain our own internal Do Not Call list. If you request to be added to our company-specific DNC list, we will:

  • Add your phone number to our internal DNC list within 24 hours
  • Process your request within 30 days (as required by law)
  • Maintain your information on our DNC list for at least 5 years
  • Communicate your request to our partners and affiliates

4. How to Add Your Number to Our DNC List

You can request to be placed on our Do Not Call list through any of the following methods:

During a Call

Simply tell the representative that you wish to be placed on our Do Not Call list. They will process your request immediately.

5. Information Required for DNC Requests

To process your Do Not Call request, please provide:

  • Your full name
  • Phone number(s) you wish to add to our DNC list
  • Email address (optional, for confirmation)
  • Mailing address (optional)

6. Scope of DNC Requests

When you request to be placed on our Do Not Call list, you will no longer receive telemarketing calls from Leadsburg. However, please note:

  • Partner calls: We will notify our partners of your request, but they maintain separate DNC lists. You may need to request removal from their lists directly.
  • Existing business relationship: If you have an existing business relationship with a partner, they may continue to contact you for up to 18 months unless you specifically opt out.
  • Non-telemarketing calls: This policy applies to telemarketing calls. You may still receive calls regarding existing accounts, transactions you initiated, or other non-marketing purposes.

7. Text Message Opt-Out

To stop receiving text messages from us or our partners:

  • Reply STOP to any text message you receive
  • Reply UNSUBSCRIBE or CANCEL
  • Contact us using any of the methods listed above

You will receive a confirmation message, and no further texts will be sent from that sender.

8. Calling Time Restrictions

In compliance with federal and state regulations, we and our partners only make telemarketing calls during the following hours:

8:00 AM - 9:00 PM

In your local time zone

Seven days a week (unless restricted by state law)

Some states have stricter calling hour restrictions, which we also honor.

9. Partner Compliance

All partners and affiliates who receive leads from Leadsburg are contractually required to:

  • Maintain their own internal Do Not Call lists
  • Honor consumer DNC requests within the required timeframe
  • Comply with all federal and state telemarketing regulations
  • Scrub calling lists against the National DNC Registry
  • Train their staff on DNC compliance procedures

10. Exceptions to DNC Rules

Under federal law, certain calls are exempt from Do Not Call regulations:

  • Calls from organizations with which you have an established business relationship (for up to 18 months)
  • Calls for which you have given prior express written consent
  • Calls that are not commercial in nature
  • Calls by tax-exempt nonprofit organizations
  • Calls for political purposes or surveys

11. Filing a Complaint

If you believe you have received a call in violation of Do Not Call regulations, you can:

  • File a complaint with us directly at compliance@leadsburg.com
  • File a complaint with the FTC at www.ftc.gov
  • File a complaint with the FCC at www.fcc.gov
  • Contact your state Attorney General's office
